So here is my first attempt at a Phantom deformity makeup. I used it tonight in the haunted house I work in. Boy did I get some screamers!
*ahem* Anyways... The three pics of me in the corners (sorry about the blurriness in two of them, I didn't take the photos) were taken at home before I added the blood. The middle one is me in costume with the stage blood added. The last one is the latex appliance after I got home and cleaned myself up.
I will probably make a new one since the paper I used for this one wasn't smooth so the paint would not get in all the grooves. As for the design, the next one will not have a lower lip, and maybe not the upper teeth stuff. The lower lip came off really quick and just dangled from the rest of it. All the talking and yelling and drinking of water I did didn't help preserve that lip piece. I will also not make the left half so white. I ran out of time, so a quick white wash had to do. I may even do the whole face next time. I guess we'll just wait and see.
Also, I credit Silent Phantom's wonderful PotO website for giving me the idea and getting me started down the right road.
Materials used: liquid latex, toilet paper, grease and creme paints, and stage blood
very good, got to havea ago meself, there a half disfirgured face you can buy, only thing is,i lost were i found it,but its simila to that. But very good face, sorry, disfirgured face.
Holy mother of baskets! I swear I cringed when I first looked at it, but once I stared at it long it enough, it started to grow on me. Well done... well done... it is incredible. *Whew*
lol, thanks! I've seen the Phantom face you can buy. I think it's based off of the Robert Englund version, but it's only half the face.

the robert englund version didn't wear a mask, wasn't his mask the victomes skin, which he sowed on,the one i've got looks based on the film phantom of the opera musical.
That's exactly the reaction I was going for. You should have heard some of the screams I got last night from just turning around. I would stand in plain sight with my back to the guests, acting like I was crying. When they got close I would spin around and start flipping out. Most of the time I would just pop out from around corners.

I didn't wear the mask inside the house; I would've ruined the makeup and hair my repeatedly taking it on and off. I did wear it outside though. Now the inside is stained red and purple. Thankfully it was the cheap plastic one so I can wash it off.

Yeah, he would skin people and use their skin to cover his face. I've never seen makeup from that movie, although I'm not surprised. It wouldn't work for a haunted house, too tame.

Hehe, yeah. I feel sorry for the kids that get dragged though the house with their parents. There was this one little girl, probably around nine or ten, who started to curse me out pretty bad when I popped out at them. I was thinking "Geeze, to you kiss your momma with that mouth?"
